Powered by Bosch steering systems, the Shuttle AM aims to offer agile handling with a reasonable weight (21Kg in the Team version), with enough travel to tackle any type of terrain.
With updated geometry, adjustable via chip flip and an expandable battery capacity, the Shuttle AM can tackle everything from local trail rides to mountain adventures.
Pivot bikes use a DW suspension linkage, which they say is ideal for e-bikes as it effectively counters the compression as the motor kicks in. The DW Link also provides enough support for efficient pedaling and a responsive ride, while maintaining enough progressive cornering to tackle rough rocky trails and jumps or descents.
The top models of the Team are equipped with Performance CX Race motors, while the other two models use the Performance Line CX motor.
The Team and Pro models feature a 750Wh battery, while the Ride model uses a smaller 625Wh battery.
All models are compatible with Bosch's PowerMore 250Wh range extender, which will be available this autumn.
The Shuttle AM's Bosch motors can be configured using the Bosch/Pivot Flow app. The app offers riders the choice of four modes out of seven options in total; Pro and Ride versions come pre-installed with Turbo, eMTB shortcrank (optimized for 165mm cranksets and below), Sport and Tour+ modes. The Team model includes a Race mode instead of the Tour+ option found on the other models. The app also provides recommended maintenance intervals based on the distance traveled and shows the range estimate and battery charge percentage in real time.
