Shimano analyzed the complex relationship between tire size, rim width, inflation pressure and tire lateral stiffness to optimize the GRX rim width for 32-50c tires. Furthermore, we sought the best balance between weight, strength and rim profile, to offer an extraordinary gravel wheel.
