For the Reaction Hybrid Rookie we used the same technologies and frame construction techniques as the adult bikes from which it drew inspiration. For example, the gravity-cast down tube and 1.5-inch head tube give a rigid structure to a model that, let's face it, will be used with quite a bit of enthusiasm. The cables inserted inside keep the shifting fluid with minimal maintenance requirements and we have also included a provision for easily mounting a telescopic seat post, in order to instill greater confidence on the trails.
