The Scarabeo knee guard is built around the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protector, inspired by the geometries of auxetic materials found in nature which, following an impact or stress, expand simultaneously in all directions, increasing the coverage area. The structure of the protector allows maximum flexibility and adaptability to all knee positions, following the movements of the young rider, from pedaling to descending. Pro-Shape Scarabeo absorbs 83% of the force of an impact, not transferring the impact energy to the knee. The surface of the protector is open on 55% of its area, allowing, together with the highly breathable elastic fabric, great ventilation and optimal heat exchange, even during the hottest days.
