Here is the new challenge of Santa Cruz; mix traditional, "muscular" geometries, together with a Shimano electric motor and an entirely carbon frame. The result? The new Heckler CC.
4 models are proposed: the R, the S, the X01RSV, the XX1 AXS RSV.
On all models in the range the frame is made of carbon, including the undercarriage.
This is an important focus, Santa Cruz does not differentiate the frames but only the assemblies.
In this way, it gives the end user the possibility to upgrade after the purchase, while still having the same frame as the top of the range.
27.5 "wheels and Sram 12-speed transmissions on all models, starting from the cheapest NX Eagle, arriving at the electronic XX1 AXS model.
The engine is the super tested Shimano Steps E8000 (70 Nm, 250 w and 2.88 Kg) with remote control of the Shimano Steps E7000 (SW-E7000-L) and integrated 504 Wh battery (2.9 Kg) removable without keys.
Again, the choice of Santa Cruz is to rely on Shimano, in order to allow customers to always have the spare parts available, wherever they are in the world.
VPP 150mm suspension (with 160mm fork) with suspension kinematics based on the Bronson scheme, Santa Cruz's most successful enduro.
To complete the package there is the internal cable routing on the down tube and carriage.
Lifetime warranty on the frame.
Sizes available from S to XXL and weights between 20.99 and 21.67 kg
Two colors are proposed; yellow / black or black / bronze.
Santa Cruz was the last of the big brands to go electric. Come and find out why!
