Haibike season 2019, new models of FLYON e-bike with TQ engine and increased battery.
The company introduces its own e-Performance system called FLYON, with an engine designed by a company called TQ, this company also designs and manufactures engines for the control of modern satellites.
TQ used this technology to create the integrated HPR 120S engine, which provides torque up to 120Nm and assistance up to 500%, specifically designed to meet the needs of e-MTB riders.
Haibike has designed all the components from scratch, using all their experience gained to date on electric bikes. The battery has been integrated into the down tube and is removable, has a remarkable capacity of 630Wh to provide greater autonomy, charging up to 80% takes place in just 60 minutes. The system offers 5 assistance levels: Eco, Low, Mid, High and Xtreme.
The new color TFT display offers all the features necessary for the rider in a clean, compact and removable display. There are 5 colors of the display depending on the type of assistance and the control on the handlebar lights up the same color as the assistance level selected, making it easier to glance during driving.
The e-bikes also have a new carbon frame that has allowed a reduction in overall weight and allows a complete integration of the engine / battery system. All cables pass through the frame using special channels, so the whole design is cleaner. In addition, Haibike has also integrated the TTL (Twin Tail Lights) lighting system into the rear swingarm, without forgetting a front light to match.
Haibike has also created a steering lock that protects the frame in case of excessive rotation of the handlebars, for example in the event of a fall. They have also been able to perfect the modular MRS system (Modular Rail System), so that all the accessories such as water bottles, anti-theft devices, tool bags, etc ... are better suited to the frame.
In addition there is a telescopic seat post with internal cable and the speed sensor inside the swingarm (instead of a magnet on the spokes), the sensor is integrated into the rear disc.
A great novelty for the great fans of "off use " pedaling will be the integrated freewheel, thanks to this system the bicycle can be pedaled like a normal bike without a motor, when the unit is disconnected, no internal component is moving.
