The e-bikes also have a new carbon frame that has allowed a reduction in overall weight and allows a complete integration of the engine / battery system. Haibike has also created a steering lock that protects the frame in case of excessive rotation of the handlebars, for example in the event of a fall. They have also been able to perfect the modular MRS system (Modular Rail System), so that all the accessories such as water bottles, anti-theft devices, tool bags, etc ... are better suited to the frame.
In addition there is a telescopic seat post with internal cable and the speed sensor inside the swingarm (instead of a magnet on the spokes), the sensor is integrated into the rear disc.
A great novelty for the great fans of "off use " pedaling will be the integrated freewheel, thanks to this system the bicycle can be pedaled like a normal bike without a motor, when the unit is disconnected, no internal component is moving.
