HAIBIKE e-Connect how it works

Arrived on the market in 2017 Haibike's e-Connect is a built-in Gps, Gsm, and Bluetooth unit.

By downloading the Free e-Connet (iOS and Android) App, your smatphone will become the operational and control center of your E-Bike. Once logged, you can check your bicycle in real time and schedule some features.

The program, as well as preserve the security of your E-bike, allows you to download traces and workouts on your PC and share the outings with your friends.

As a black box, e-Connect, it has several sensors: gps, bluetooth, accelerometer and gyroscope that allow you to detect data by communicating them in real time. The system also has a stand-alone battery that ensures its operation for at least 6 months without charging, charging automatically when the ebike is turned on.

e-Connect has several functions:

SURVEILLANCE FUNCTION

The surveillance function is based on the GPS system, can be activated via the application or with the transponder key provided with the system.

This feature, once activated, will monitor our E-bike and will send a warning message to the App whenever the bike is moved or switched on, if the shift is continuous we will receive an alarm message.

In case of theft, the system will automatically send a series of alarm messages, communicating the exact position of the E-Bike with a 2 meter gap.

ALLERT FUNCTION IN CASE OF FALL:

e-Connet has also been designed to protect the rider. In fact, thanks to its sensors, it can detect sudden and abrupt stoppages of speed. The application in this case immediately sends a notification to the rider, if within 60 seconds it is not canceled, it automatically sends an SMS to two user-defined emergency numbers containing the GPS coordinate position and Google Maps. The system can be activated and deactivated at the discretion of the user.

LIVE TRAKING FUNCTION

With this feature you can check the status and position of your bicycle at any time. The location is provided either in the form of coordinates or via Google Maps.

REGISTRATION AND EXPORTING FUNCTION

Thanks to e-Connnect we can review the itineraries on Google maps, including all data such as: KM, speed, altitude difference, etc. By joining the dedicated portal you can export the itineraries in GXP format and share them on applications like Strava.

All the functions of sms and allert are enabled at the discretion of the user. In addition, even if the bike is not registered on the portal, if needed, e-Connect bikes remain traceable.
